A very popular wood stain colour from our Decking Stain range, Antique Pine is a traditional shade that compliments a wide range of wood products from skirting boards to conservatories.

Royal contains a naturally derived polyurethane based on linseed oil and a high-quality cross linking acrylic. It will leave a low maintenance weatherproof coating that contains UV filters to protect colours from fading.

One coat will produce a translucent finish allowing the wood grain to really show through. A 2nd coat increases the opacity giving a richer deeper colour and a 3rd coat will produce a hard gloss finish.

Ideal for:
• Window Frames
• Doors
• Gates
• Conservatories
• Summer Houses
• Garden Furniture
• External Timbers and Cladding

Features:
• Long-lasting protection
• Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds)
• Low odour
• Water-based with linseed oil – natural renewable resource
• Translucent – allows wood grain to show through
• Rich long-lasting colour
• Water resistant with mould and fungal protection
• Microporous high-build coating

Coverage: 1 Litre will cover approximately 8m²

Advice: It is recommended that 2 – 3 coats be applied. If 1 coat is to be applied for a translucent look, apply Royal Clear on top to produce a harder surface finish. Protek Royal is a high-build formulation so each extra coat increases the colour and sheen. If applying to bare timber a knotting agent should be used prior to application. When applied to floorboards a top coat of breathable polyurethane sealant or varnish should be applied to protect against heavy foot traffic.

This is a protective water-repellent coating. If your timber isn't treated with a preservative then depending on the type of wood and product, you may want to use our Wood Preserver
